Wool is a 100% natural fibre:
Grown by sheep and it provides many natural attributes that are healthy for both human and environment.
Wool is Biodegradable:
Once wool has served its product purpose, it will naturally biodegrade in the soil or in our marine environment without harming any other life cycle surrounding it. In fact, it provides a natural fertiliser to the soil or seabed.
Wool is Sustainable:
Wool is a protein fibre grown by sheep. It grows naturally with good food intake, fresh air, sunshine and clean water. New Zealand provides a free-range environment where sheep are nurtured and taken care of but are free to roam in the clean New Zealand countryside.
With now having over 30 years of experience appraising, valuing, buying, understanding of manufacturers wants and needs, it is now time for us to educate, promote, and to provide you with an experience you will not forget once you have sampled the benefits of wool.
Our story...
LoveWoolNZ has been born from our passion of this wonderful natural fibre called WOOL.
We have both grown up on our respective family farms, helping out where we can, doing the hard yards when it was asked. Experiencing the lambing beats, the long hours at shearing time, docking, mustering and all doing this while battling with the ever-challenging weather conditions.
All of the above was achieved because we loved the land and the animal’s we were nurturing in a free range environment.
Realisation came after many years, that the sheep were able to survive in all weather conditions due
to the wool jacket that they grew.
Now we live and breath wool...
